50 Hour Filmmaking Challenge

Deadline: September 14, 2017

India Film Project’s flagship competition, 50 Hour Filmmaking Challenge invites young filmmakers to battle it out with more than 30,000 filmmakers from 300+ cities and show their filmmaking skills in a duration of just 50 hours. Teams can include a maximum of 20 members. Teams can choose any one category to participate – Professional, Amateur or Mobile. The theme will be revealed at the beginning of 50 hours.

Based on their filmmaking experience, participants can register themselves for different categories - Professional, Amateur and Mobile. The entire film must be shot within the filmmaking period (September 15th, 8:00 pm - September 17th, 10:00 pm) and the team needs to provide a proof as and when needed. Team members will get the theme online on September 15th, 2017, 8:00pm at the official website.

Winning teams will be awarded at the Indian Film Project in Mumbai this October.
