The Department of Atomic Energy invites students studying in undergraduate colleges across India to submit essays for the 29th All India Essay Contest on Nuclear Science & Technology. In 2000 words, students need to throw light on the existing energy scenario of the nation, clean energy technologies and economic aspects of Nuclear and other technologies.
After initial screening and evaluation, a maximum of 36 essays will be selected and their authors will be invited to Mumbai in the last week of October (2017) for an oral presentation of the essays. Travel and stay will be fully funded by the Government of India. Winning essays in each of the three categories will receive Rs. 21,000 as cash prize.
